Cape Reinga, Northland

Today the three of us took an 8 hour drive to the very tip of New Zealand’s Northland right up to Cape Reigna.

To make the most northerly part of the country stood a lighthouse and this simple signpost highlighting directions and distances to landmark cities around the globe. London was just over 17,000 km away.

This signpost also was a line to signal where there Tasman Sea meets the Pacific Ocean. You could even see the natural line to divide the two waters when looking out to sea which was amazing to behold.
